Conditions générales d'utilisation
These terms govern the use of Croncoo by a host who creates an event and by guests who join one. Joining an event means accepting them.
The host opens the moments, decides what is asked, and may remove anything a guest contributes. Content shown on a screen at an event is the host's responsibility: the host undertakes not to display anything unlawful or offensive, or that infringes the rights of others, and to let guests know that their contributions may appear on the event's screens.
Guests keep the rights to the photographs and words they contribute, and grant the host the right to display them on the event's screens for the duration of the event and to keep them in the event's album afterwards. A guest only shares what they have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, offensive, or showing a person who has not agreed to it. The host or Croncoo may remove any contribution that breaks these rules.
Croncoo is in private beta and is provided free of charge and as is during that period: features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance. MateByte is not liable for indirect damage resulting from its use. These terms are governed by French law.
Politique de confidentialité
We keep your email address, and nothing else, for the sole purpose of sending you a beta invitation. Your request reaches us by email, sent from the server of our host Nuxit in France. It is not sold, not shared, and not used for anything else. To limit abuse, the address of the device that sends the form is kept for one hour at most. Ask us and we delete your email address the same day.
A guest joins with a code and a display name. What you contribute belongs to that event and is visible to the room it is shown in. The event's content is kept for twelve months after the event, then deleted. The host can delete it sooner, and you can ask us at any time to delete your own contributions.
To play, you enter a display name: there is no account and no email address. Your name, answers and score exist only in the game's memory while the room is open, and are erased when it closes, at the latest two hours after everyone has left. When the AI referee is switched on, disputed answers are sent to Anthropic, in the United States, to be judged: only the word, its category and its language, never your name. Your device remembers your name and language so you do not have to type them again; the game uses no cookies.
